Images from library databases
Images that are in the Public Domain
Images that are designated as royalty-free
Always cite the source of your image or graphic even if it is in the public domain

Search for Free Images

Instructions on how to search for license free images for clipart, pictures, photographs and videos. These sources may have medical images for classes or presentations but are not exclusively medically related only.

Search Bing for free images
Search Bing first. In toolbar beneath the Bing search box, click the License limiter.
Google search for free images
Use Advanced Image Search, in the Usage rights section, select the drop-down box for the correct license.
Search Pixabay for free images
Search for free images. No attribution required.

Posting Library Links for Off Campus Users

Links to library content need to include our proxy in the URL.
Students off-campus or on rotation will encounter errors if links are not correct.
