Alumni Resources: Citation Managers

Your EndNote Online subscription through Midwestern University expires a year after the last log in from campus. 

You may continue to use EndNote Online, but will be transferred to EndNote Basic (a free version) with only 21 citation styles. 

To transfer your EndNote Online library to other citation managers: 

1. Log in to EndNote online
2. Hover over Format in the menu bar
3. Select Export References
4. From the References: dropdown, select "All References in My Library"
5. In the Export Style: dropdown, select Refman (RIS) Export
6. Click the Save button
7. Go to your new citation manager and import the downloaded RIS file

Your Papers subscription with Midwestern University will expire after graduation. You may choose purchase an individual account and continue to use Papers. Or you can transfer your Papers library to another citation manager.
