Begin your search for scholarly articles in library databases. These curated collections contain resources to support research across disciplines.

Databases and the Get it @ MWU button will direct you to articles and journals from the library collection or to use interlibrary loan, ILLiad. Create an ILLiad account and articles from other libraries will be delivered to you in a few business days. For information on ILLiad, click the link below:

1. Use Keywords or short phrases 
   • Avoid using full sentences or questions
   • Identify the main concepts of question or topic
2. Broaden or narrow search using Boolean Operators
   • AND - Narrows a search -- articles retrieved must have ALL terms
   • OR - Broadens a search -- articles retrieved may have ANY terms present
3. Utilize database's filters to refine results
