EndNote 21 (EN 21) is a powerful citation manager that allows you to save time as you move through the research process. EN 21 is a desktop app installed on MWU computers

• Saves references from multiple databases in one location
• Attach PDFs to your references
• Organize your references by project, topic, etc.
• Share folders of references with others who have an EndNote account for collaborative work
• Create bibliographies in seconds
• Insert in-text citations and full references as you write your manuscript
• Change the citation style of your manuscript in seconds

• Click on the EN icon in your task bar or use the Search box in Windows and search for the EndNote app
• Click on the app to open it
• Accept the license to for EN 21
• Check out EndNote 21's new features here

When opening the EndNote 21 desktop app, you may see this message: "An error occurred while attempting to upload the attachment(s). Please retry." Use the instructions below to fix this error.

• Empty the "Trash" folder in both your EndNote desktop library and your EndNote Online library
• Close and reopen the EndNote application
• Attempt to sync your EndNote library again. EndNote should have reestablished a connection and opened properly
